About me
I just graduated from the in the Environmental Systems (ES) program at the University of California, Merced with a PhD where I worked with Dr. Markolf. I am passionate about the challenges that climate change is bringing to our infrastructure, especially extreme events and it’s meaning for the design of water infrastructure. Due to the harmful political developments, my husband and I have decided not to stay in the US.
So, originally from Germany, I am now back in Berlin and working as a project engineer at Tractebel engie (formerly Hydroprojekt) in the department for planning large dams. This website will be shut down in January 2026, so connect with me on LinkedIn if you want to stay in touch as a professional. And as goes for the blog for my family and friends – Ich bin ja wieder im Lande, schreibt mir direkt oder kommt mich einfach besuchen!
